GENERAL UNIFORM INFORMATION for Grades 4 – 8

General Rules
All BOYS and GIRLS must wear the school dress shirt and BOYS must wear a school tie.
All BOYS and GIRLS are to wear black shoes.
Skorts are also available for girls, which can be purchased from Blake’s.
Sweaters, Sweater Vests and Fleeces are also available for purchase at Blake’s.

Winter Uniform
The winter uniform is to be worn between October 1st and May 1st.

Boys:
Navy blue pants with a black belt
Yellow or blue short or long sleeve dress shirt with the Catholic Academy Logo

Plaid school tie

Gray sweater or sweater vest with CA logo patch
Black shoes with rubber bottoms that tie firmly on the feet
Black or navy-blue socks

Girls: 
Navy blue pants with a black belt – Pants may not be leg tight or very tailored!
Yellow or light blue long or short sleeve blouse with the Catholic Academy Logo

Gray sweater or sweater vest with CA logo patch
Navy blue socks that are above the ankle
Black shoes with rubber bottoms that tie – Girls may also wear black Mary Jane shoes that have a wide enough strap so that the shoes stay firmly on the feet.

Gym Uniform for Boys and Girls:
Royal blue sweat shirt with CA logo – a t-shirt with CA logo may be worn on hot days and may be worn under the sweat shirt.
Royal blue sweat pants with CA logo
Sneakers that tie firmly on the feet.

Summer Uniform
Students may wear the summer uniform until October 1st and then again starting May 1st.

Boys and Girls
Dress shorts may be purchased at Blake’s and worn in place of long pants

Gray polo shirt with Catholic Academy logo may be worn but must be kept tucked into the shorts or pants.  A belt is required.

General Appearance

Hair is to be neat with bangs above the eyebrows. Hair coloring, highlights, and bleaching are not permitted for boys or girls.

No cosmetics, lip gloss, colored chapstick, nail polish, designs on nails, or artificial nails may be worn. No tattoos of any kind are allowed. Students may wear one pair of stud earrings in the lower earlobe. No cartilage piercings. No hoop earrings larger than a dime are allowed. Jewelry is limited to one watch, one ring, and a simple necklace.
